First Day of School Sunrise

Full Moon Rising

This evening I was able to watch, and get a few photographs of the full moon rising from behind the Highwood Mountains.  The moon is still a little red from the smoke.  - Todd

Smokey Sunrise and Moonrise

It was another smokey day in Great Falls today.  This morning I was able to get a few pictures of the sunrise and this evening a few pictures of the moonrise.  Though a nice filter for my pictures, I'm ready for the smoke to move along.  - Todd

Even though there aren't any fires too close, the smoke from the forest fires really rolled in to Great Falls heavy this evening.  - Todd

Rodeo in the Mountains

I spent the evening photographing the rodeo in Cascade.  This is the second year I've donated my time to support this rodeo, held to help raise money for high school rodeo.  In previous years it has been held in Vaughn, but this year it moved to Cascade.  Very nice arena with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. - Todd
