Full Moon Rising

Those of you who have followed my photography know that the moon is one of my favorite subjects.  Tonight was the rise of the full moon for the month of July and I wanted to get some pictures of it.  I was hoping it would rise over the mountains; it didn't but that's ok.  Taken just a little ways down the street from our house, I'll keep and eye on it and hopefully I'll catch it as it rises above the mountains.  - Todd

Another Rainbow

Yet another rainbow this evening over Great Falls.  Again it was a full arch but I only got a chance to take a couple pictures and got this one of its end...over the college of technology's wind turbine.  - Todd

Clouds....

Thunderstorms are passing through our area of Montana and here in Great Falls they produced some very high winds but very little thunder, lightening or rain (yet).  One thing I found interesting was the high, slow moving cloud formations that passed over while the winds on the surface were, I'm guessing, around 40 or 50 MPH gusts.  Here is a couple pictures I took of the clouds. - Todd

The day before independence....

As expected many in Great Falls were shooting off fireworks today, the 3rd of July.  I was able to get a bit of a preview of what to expect tomorrow night.  I can't wait for tomorrow night!!! - Todd
